Ampersand Encore is the reunion for all Ampersand Members since its very beginning.

The reunion will be taking place during the weekend of October 26-28, 2007.

Schedule

  • Friday- 7:30-9:30 Check in, Tours and Reception in McVey Hall. Come whenever you can check out the facility and meet and greet.
  • Saturday-
    • 10:30am McVey open for check in and further tours of McVey for those that missed it Friday night
    • 12:00pm Luncheon in St. Catherine's dining hall. Brief welcoming remarks and a presentation or two.
    • 1:45pm Convene at McVey Theatre for Joe Knox keynote, scene from fall production of The Blue Bird, panel discussion, Alumni performances
    • 3:30pm or 4:00pm Break for dinner and visiting with friends. McVey will remain open.
    • 8:30- ??? Cast party
  • Sunday- 10:30am continental breakfast for folks to get together one more time and to talk about future activities.

Get Involved

The Ampersand Encore Reunion Needs Your Help!
  • We want to set up a display of Ampersand Memorabilia, so dig through your closet, drawers, attics and basements and get in touch with Scottie Caldwell, if you have items that you would like to lend.

  • We want to create a video montage of photo and video images covering as much of Ampersand history as possible. If you have pictures, video, etc. please contact Alex Skidmore.

  • There will be a performance by Ampersand of a selection from their fall production of Maurice Maeterlinck's The Blue Bird and we hope that we can have a showcase performance from former members as well. If you want to perform or have other arts related talents to display contact Web Begole.

  • We are planning a panel discussion about Ampersand members in the arts if you would like to participate contact Alice Sharp.

  • Many of you, though no longer working in the arts are involved in interesting occupations and activities. If you have anything you would like to share contact Maury Hancock. We would like to showcase all the many talents of Ampersand members and let everyone know what you are up to these days

  • If you would like to help with the organization and running of the event please contact Maury Hancock.

Registration

The cost for Ampersand Members attending the reunion is $45 payable only by check. Members are welcome to bring non-Ampersand members with them to the reunion at a reduced cost of $35 per person.

Once you have registered with this site you will be informed about where to send a check to confirm your registration for the reunion. (Registering on this site is FREE but does not constitute registration for the reunion until your check has been received.)
